Weird in a kinda fun way, though. It was strange feeling the gear ratio change gradually. It takes corners very well. Visibility is very good for a modern car.

Does it have the lane change camera? I still think those are neat.

It does not, but it does have a neat thing where the outside 2" of the sideview mirror is slightly convex so you can see a wider area.

I won’t go on my rant about those, but they’re a great idea hampered by bad execution. They really take your eyes off the road and require more concentration than a properly adjusted mirror. If the screen were a much higher resolution it might work better.
However, I have found them pretty useful in the rare parallel parking situation. The Odyssey has good visibility, but it’s just mammoth. But using the backup camera and the lane change camera (manually engaged with the button on the stalk) you can get a pretty good idea about where you are.

I love the LaneWatch (Honda’s term) camera on my ‘15 Accord’s passenger-side mirror. I use it regularly. The lack thereof on the ‘18 Accord we test-drove was specifically one of the things I disliked. I get that future versions won’t have them either...it just helped solidify our decision to buy out our lease rather than re-up on a newer car.

That’s that’s a smart idea. You don’t have to buy those little stick on mirrors
